The PL Audio Big Banana New Version is a powerful passive loudspeaker designed for high-output performance with exceptional clarity. It packs eight 6.5-inch low/mid drivers and four 1-inch HF drivers into a robust birch plywood enclosure, delivering up to 2400W programme power and a maximum SPL beyond 137 dB. With a wide 110° horizontal by 30° vertical dispersion, it offers excellent coverage for medium to large spaces, while remaining controlled enough for precise deployment. The cabinet features weather-resistant membrane impregnation and a tough, black PU coating as standard, with all RAL colours available on request. A choice of acoustic foam or a steel front grille ensures the right finish for touring or fixed install. Practical touches include 6 x M10 and 2 x M8 mounting points, dual 4‑pole Speakon connectors, and a protective, powder-coated steel grille that’s ball-impact resistant. Dimensions are 400 x 775 x 320 mm, with a weight of 28 kg. Supplied with a flying bracket for flexible rigging. Ideal for live FOH, clubs, multi-purpose venues and demanding installs.
