The Mo-Sys StarTracker IP (complete system) delivers precise, real-time camera tracking for studio environments, ideal for cranes, jibs and pedestals. Using an infrared optical sensor and ceiling-mounted reflective stars, it captures absolute positional and rotational data, plus lens information, to drive AR, VR and virtual production workflows with rock-solid accuracy. This turnkey package includes the StarTracker IP (V8 STM) with Sensor and Processor units, lens control for 20-pin Fujinon ENG/box lenses, and a Lilliput touchscreen monitor for quick setup and monitoring. Connectivity is streamlined via the supplied umbilical, HDMI and XLR power cables, while the Wi‑Fi dongle and Skaarhoj RCP remote control panel provide flexible operation and adjustment. Supplied with 250 self-adhesive stars for studios 3–6 metres high, it’s quick to rig and calibrate, minimising downtime and ensuring repeatable results across productions.
