The Miller 1833 Compass 15 Solo DV Carbon Fibre System pairs the precise Compass 15 fluid head with the lightweight Solo DV carbon fibre tripod for dependable, on-the-go camera support. Designed for broadcast, ENG and documentary work, the Compass 15 delivers smooth, repeatable control with adjustable pan and tilt drag (five steps plus zero) and a four-position counterbalance, handling payloads from 2–9 kg. A 75 mm ball provides fast, accurate levelling, while the sliding camera plate speeds setup and balance.
The Solo DV tripod’s 2-stage carbon fibre construction offers excellent rigidity with minimal weight. Independent, telescopic legs and adjustable angles allow low-to-high setups without a spreader, reaching approximately 40–178 cm. Twist-locks keep deployment quick and secure, and the compact design packs down neatly for travel.
