The Midas DL231 is a professional 24-in/24-out active microphone splitter and digital stagebox built for touring, broadcast and installations. Each of the 24 inputs features two fully independent Midas mic preamps with switchable 48 V phantom power, enabling simultaneous feeds to separate consoles or recording systems without compromise. With dual redundant AES50 ports and independent PLL synchronisation, the DL231 delivers robust, low-latency audio transport and fault tolerance across standard CAT5/5e up to approximately 100 metres. Selectable 48 kHz or 96 kHz operation ensures seamless integration with modern digital workflows, while 24 electronically balanced outputs can be sourced from either the analogue preamps or the network. Comprehensive control options include remote configuration, front-panel access with clear LCD feedback, and standard MIDI and Ethernet connectivity. Housed in a rugged 5U rack chassis with dual redundant universal power supplies, the DL231 is engineered for reliability in demanding environments.
