The Meyer Sound MSL-4 is a high-power, horn-loaded point source loudspeaker built for long-throw reinforcement where clarity, impact and control are critical. This 2024 refresh updates the high-frequency section with 18Sound NSD4015N compression drivers and converts the cabinet to passive operation, cutting down on rack space, amplifier channels and cabling while preserving the MSL-4’s hallmark output, directivity and punch. Powersoft Armonía presets are available for this configuration, delivering fast setup with consistent voicing and dependable performance across deployments. Expect focused projection, excellent intelligibility and tight pattern control that stays coherent over distance. The passive conversion simplifies touring and installation workflows without sacrificing authority, while the HF upgrade brings a smoother, more refined top end with robust reliability at demanding SPL. Ideal for arenas, outdoor stages, large venues and long-throw fills alongside line arrays, the MSL-4 remains a proven workhorse updated for modern system design. Choose it when you need scalable, accurate coverage and plenty of headroom for medium-to-large PA systems.
