The Meyer Sound CAL 32 is a precision steerable column loudspeaker designed for demanding installed sound applications where clarity, coverage and architectural integration are paramount. With a 120° horizontal pattern and variable vertical coverage from 5° to 30° in 5° steps, CAL 32 precisely focuses sound where it’s needed. Vertical steering of ±30° in 1° increments ensures exceptional intelligibility in challenging spaces, especially when mounted in a baffled configuration against a wall or column.
A multichannel Class D amplifier drives each transducer individually, while onboard DSP provides powerful tuning tools: independent mute and gain per beam, five bands of parametric EQ per beam, delay up to 500 ms, polarity reverse and four onboard presets. Connectivity includes analogue (Phoenix) and AES/EBU inputs, plus Ethernet for Compass control and an AVB-capable port for integrated audio networking. RMS remote monitoring, contact closures for preset recall and emergency override, and a robust extruded aluminium enclosure round out a system built for reliability and precision.
Ideal for transport hubs, houses of worship, corporate atria, lecture theatres and heritage venues requiring discreet, intelligible coverage.
