The Meyer Sound CAL 32 is a precision steerable column loudspeaker engineered for installed environments that demand intelligibility, consistent coverage and discreet integration. Its 120° horizontal pattern pairs with variable vertical coverage from 5° to 30° in 5° steps, while beam steering of ±30° in 1° increments focuses sound exactly where it is needed. This makes CAL 32 particularly effective in reflective or architecturally sensitive spaces, including baffled wall or column mounting.
A multichannel Class D amplifier drives each transducer individually for maximum control, with onboard DSP offering independent mute and gain per beam, five bands of parametric EQ per beam, delay up to 500 ms, polarity reverse and four user presets. Connectivity is comprehensive: analogue (Phoenix) and AES/EBU inputs, Ethernet for Compass control, and an AVB-capable port for integrated audio networking. System health and workflow are enhanced by RMS remote monitoring, contact closures for preset recall and emergency override, and a robust extruded aluminium enclosure designed for long-term reliability.
