The Martin Audio WSX is a high-efficiency folded horn subwoofer engineered to partner the Wavefront W8 systems and other touring arrays where deep, high-impact low end is essential. Its classic ‘S’-shaped horn path, over 2.1 metres long, couples a powerful 18-inch long‑excursion driver to the airload for exceptional transient response, output and throw. Delivering a frequency response of 38–150 Hz (±3 dB) with usable extension to 28 Hz (‑10 dB), the WSX combines a sensitivity of 105 dB (half space) with 600 W AES power handling at 8 ohms to produce up to 138 dB peak SPL in half space.
Optimised for use below 150 Hz, the WSX integrates seamlessly with Martin Audio system processing such as the DX1, MX4 or MX5. Touring-friendly features include dual Neutrik NL8 connectors and a robust enclosure with integrated wheels for easier deployment.
