The MA Lighting MA NPU (Network Processing Unit) centralises processing for grandMA2 systems, delivering the same robust performance as the consoles while adding 4,096 parameters per unit. It serves as the bridge between Ethernet and DMX, converting network data to DMX across eight independently configurable 5‑pin XLR ports, each assignable as input or output. A clear 7-inch touchscreen provides quick access to status, network, and session details for efficient setup and monitoring. With automatic 120–230 V operation, etherCON networking, three USB 2.0 ports, and powerCON in/out, the MA NPU is ready for professional touring and installation workflows. Multiple grandMA2 consoles can share MA NPU resources for scalable parameter expansion, centralised processing, and seamless redundancy—without additional DMX mergers. Compact 19-inch rackmount dimensions and an 8.4 kg chassis make deployment straightforward on site.
