Complete dimmer rack built around MA Lighting, delivering 36 channels at approximately 2–2.3 kW per channel with a flexible hotpatch. The system comprises three MA 12x2.3 kW dimmer units with RCD protection on 32 A feeds (purchased new 01/2020), paired with a Major Hotpatch 48-in to 96-out panel for fast, tidy distribution. Current mapping routes channels 1–36 to dimmers, with 37–48 available via HAN16 for direct power. A Cameo SB 6 dual DMX splitter provides robust signal distribution, while a 63 A/400 V power distro offers three 32 A outputs, a HAN16 out and auxiliary Schuko. Supplied with a full set of hotpatch leads (long, short and Schuko adapters), all housed in an Amptown 18U ABS rack with a gooseneck twin LED lamp for clear patch visibility. The hotpatch can be reconfigured to 16 x 6-channel outputs if preferred. Ideal for theatres, touring productions and event installs needing reliable, adaptable dimming and patching.
