The JBL AWC82 is a compact, all-weather, coaxial loudspeaker designed for year-round outdoor performance. This set includes two AWC82 speakers, each featuring an 8-inch low-frequency driver with a weather-resistant Kevlar-reinforced cone and a 1-inch high-frequency driver with SonicGuard protection. The wide 120° x 120° coverage delivers even, intelligible sound over large areas, while the integrated 70/100 V transformer with selectable taps (200/100/50 W, plus 25 W on 70 V) ensures flexible installation across distributed systems. For low-impedance setups, each unit also supports 8-ohm operation with up to 250 W continuous power handling and a peak SPL of 124 dB. The IP56-rated enclosure (at 5° downward tilt) is hand-laminated, glass-fibre reinforced and paintable, with a robust, triple-layer grille assembly for long-term durability in harsh environments. Supplied U-brackets enable secure mounting, with additional safety point provision. Ideal for theme parks, stadia, pools, outdoor venues and cruise decks where reliability, clarity and consistent coverage are essential.
