The HK Audio LINEAR 5 LTS is an ultra-compact long-throw passive top designed to deliver clear, consistent coverage over 30 metres and beyond. Its Multicell Transformer (MCT) horn controls a tight 60° horizontal pattern with +5°/-25° vertical dispersion, focusing energy where it’s needed and minimising spill in reflective spaces. A trio of 8-inch neodymium woofers pairs with a 1-inch neodymium HF driver via a 1.7 kHz passive crossover for articulate mids and crisp highs. With 600 W RMS handling (2400 W peak), 8-ohm nominal impedance and up to 138 dB peak SPL (half-space), it integrates easily into existing passive systems.
Built for fast, flexible deployment, it features switchable NL4 pinning, a MonoTilt 36 mm top-hat for precise aiming, seven M8 fly points and rugged birch plywood construction with a hard-wearing black acrylic finish. Frequency response is 108 Hz–14 kHz (±3 dB), extending 100 Hz–20 kHz (-10 dB). Compact at 44 x 68 x 46 cm and 26.4 kg, it’s easy to handle yet fully touring-ready. Ideal for small to mid-scale live sound, corporate events and installs requiring fewer boxes, faster setups and long-throw clarity.
