The Hammond XK-1 delivers genuine tonewheel organ character in a compact, road-ready single-manual design. Dual VASE III digital tonewheel engines capture the warmth and nuance of classic Hammonds, complemented by authentic percussion, vibrato/chorus, and an internal Leslie simulator with fast, slow and brake control. Sculpt your sound with onboard digital overdrive, a three-band EQ and ten reverb programmes, while master tuning, transpose and pedal sustain length keep you flexible on stage and in the studio.
A 61-note waterfall keyboard with velocity provides the familiar Hammond feel, supported by a clear two-line, 20-character display and hands-on control via nine switches and an encoder. Comprehensive connectivity includes MIDI (In 1, In 2, Out) with zoned templates, expression pedal and footswitch inputs, stereo line outputs, headphones, AC power, and an 8‑pin Leslie socket for external rotors. Measuring 45-5/8 x 13-1/8 x 4-3/8 inches and weighing 33 lbs, it’s easy to transport—especially with the supplied soft bag. Eight additional voices add extra versatility for modern sets.
Ideal for gigging keyboard players, worship teams and studio musicians seeking classic Hammond tone without the weight.
