The GLP Startube 4 HiRes LHGL is a high-quality fluorescent batten designed for TV, theatre and events where exceptionally smooth dimming is essential. Using four 36 W T8 tubes in red, green, blue and white, it delivers additive RGBW colour mixing with excellent output and an even, homogenous field. A 16-bit control engine ensures precise, flicker-free fades from 0–100%, with standout performance in the critical 0–10% range. Switchable tube preheating improves responsiveness, making it suitable for fast chases and strobe-style effects. Each tube is individually controllable via DMX512, with start addresses set from the side display. A lockable single-connector system allows quick, reliable setup and power linking; up to 15 units can be run in series on a single 16 A phase via a Startube 4 feeder. Practical rigging options include M10 threaded inserts, a Camlock quick-release system, safety point and removable feet, while the housing allows seamless end-to-end or side-by-side arrays. Ideal as a background light, wall washer or stage footlight.
