A 23.8-inch 4K multitouch display sits in a dual‑axis tilting assembly for optimal viewing, with support for up to three external DisplayPort monitors at up to 3840 x 2160, including optional single‑ or multi‑touch. Five motorised 60 mm faders plus a dual 60 mm motorised main playback deliver flexible, tactile control, backed up by backlit scroll‑wheel faders, six force‑feedback encoders and a dedicated high‑resolution 10.1-inch encoder display. A dedicated intensity wheel, the backlit Eos keypad and a 6.3-inch keypad touchscreen with haptic feedback streamline programming.
Connectivity is extensive, with four configurable Gigabit etherCON ports with PoE++ (802.3bt), two 10G SFP+ ports, and sACN and Art‑Net output. Multiple USB‑A/USB‑C ports and support for MIDI, SMPTE and OSC via Show Control and I/O gateways expand integration. Solid‑state storage and dedicated graphics ensure robust performance. Supplied in a wheeled case with a locking regional mains cable, Apex 5 is ideal for theatre, broadcast, touring and live events where speed, power and finesse are essential.
