The EAW MW8 MicroWedge is an ultra-compact, passive 2-way stage monitor designed in collaboration with Dave “Rat” Levine of Rat Sound. Its low-profile form factor preserves sightlines while delivering impressive output and clarity for modern stages. A true coaxial design aligns an 8-inch LF driver with a 1.75-inch compression driver for excellent phase coherence, resulting in smooth, even 90° conical coverage that keeps the mix consistent wherever the performer stands. Rated at 350 W into 8 ohms and spanning a 73 Hz–18 kHz frequency range, the MW8 provides tight, controlled response with vocal presence and instrument detail that cuts through without harshness.
