The DJ Power CAT-2 is a flexible atmospheric generator that delivers both dense fog and ultra-fine haze from a single, tour-ready unit. Using an eco-friendly, oil-based fluid in combination with CO2, it produces exceptionally small particles (around 0.5 micrometres) for crisp beams, defined textures and smooth, even coverage, even with minimal airflow. A powerful 680 m³/min output and a 3-litre fluid tank support longer runs, while the 700 W heater ensures reliable consistency after an approximately 8‑minute warm-up. Control is straightforward via 4-channel DMX512 with 3-pin and 5-pin XLR in/out, and a Neutrik powerCON provides a secure mains connection. Typical consumption is 5.5 ml of fluid per minute and 11.7 g of gas per minute, with peak power draw of 715 W on AC 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz. Compact yet robust at 650 x 310 x 300 mm and 16.5 kg, it’s built for both touring and fixed installations.
