The d&b audiotechnik V12 is a passive 3‑way V‑Series line array loudspeaker designed for high‑output, wide‑coverage sound reinforcement. It features two 10" neodymium low‑frequency drivers, a horn‑loaded 8" midrange, and two 1.4" high‑frequency compression drivers with 2.5" voice coils, coupled to a waveforming horn. All transducers are arranged coaxially around the cabinet’s central axis to ensure smooth crossover transitions and a tightly controlled, even horizontal dispersion. The V12 delivers a nominal 120° horizontal pattern maintained from as low as 250 Hz, enabling superb intelligibility and consistency across wide audience areas.
Mechanical and acoustic design support flown vertical arrays of up to 24 cabinets. The V12 can be deployed as full V12 arrays or combined with V8 and V‑SUB elements for flexible system design. The robust multiplex enclosure is finished with durable Polyurea (PCP) coating, with a steel front grille backed by acoustically transparent foam, and integrated handles for ease of handling.
