The DMX Splitter 8 RDM is a robust 1U rackmount data distribution unit designed for reliable DMX512A and RDM signal management. It features two optically isolated DMX/RDM inputs and eight optically isolated outputs, ensuring clean signal regeneration, galvanic isolation and minimal latency with an approximate 2 μs signal delay. Each of the eight outputs can be assigned to either input, allowing the unit to function as a single 8-way splitter or as two independent 4-way splitters for flexible patching across multiple universes.
Built for professional environments, it uses Neutrik XLR connectors (2 x male inputs, 8 x female outputs) and a Neutrik PowerCON mains inlet. Universal power (100–240 V, 50–60 Hz), passive cooling and a compact 1U format make it a dependable choice for touring racks and fixed installations alike. With optical isolation up to 1000 V and a -20ºC to +40ºC operating range, it’s engineered for demanding stage, theatre and live event applications.
