Its 471W Osram light source delivers an exceptionally bright, punchy output, while the wide lens and 2°–42° motorised zoom create everything from razor‑tight aerial beams to smooth, even washes. Precision colour control comes via seamless CMY mixing alongside a fixed colour wheel for instant looks. Creative effects are extensive: a fixed and a rotating gobo wheel (with autofocus through the zoom range), dual prism wheels, an animation wheel, and two linear frost filters that can be combined for maximum flexibility. Hotspot control ensures balanced, consistent projection, and a high CRI filter makes the Orion ideal for television and theatre where accurate colour rendering is essential.
