The Clay Paky Stormy CC is a modern LED take on the classic strobe, delivering vivid RGBW colour while preserving the signature punch of xenon-style effects. Its array of 144 x 7W Osram Oslon LEDs works with a parabolic reflector to project a powerful, even flash, rather than the flat forward throw typical of many LED strobes. Fully digital control lets you set pulse frequency, duration and intensity independently, with instant on/off for crisp, jerky effects or extended pulses without flicker. In pulsed mode it draws up to 980W, with 720W continuous, producing up to 40,000 lumens. A 42° beam aperture with broad 130° spatial diffusion ensures strong coverage, while optional barndoors offer further shaping. Operation is streamlined via 7-channel DMX control and RDM support, and a 360° adjustable bracket simplifies rigging. With no need for gels or scrollers, Stormy CC is built for reliability, colour flexibility and high-impact performance.
