The Burmester 077 Preamplifier is a no-compromise reference preamp created to celebrate Burmester’s 30th anniversary. Its modular architecture and extreme mechanical decoupling deliver ultra-low noise, exceptional transparency and superb microdetail. A dedicated, heavy-duty external reference power supply housed in its own 26 kg chassis isolates the audio path from interference for greater dynamic range, grip and headroom. Connectivity is comprehensive and primarily balanced, with six XLR line inputs and one RCA input (optional phono module available), plus a main XLR output and a second XLR that can be switched between variable and fixed. A free module bay allows future expansion with optional Phono MM/MC, DAC or additional line inputs to tailor the system to evolving needs.
