The BirdDog PTZ Keyboard Controller is a robust hardware control surface for managing large fleets of PTZ cameras across studio, event and broadcast environments. It supports NDI, NDI|HX, VISCA over IP, RS-232 and RS-422, allowing seamless integration into mixed-protocol workflows. A smooth 3-axis joystick with an integrated zoom ring and additional zoom rocker delivers precise pan, tilt and zoom control, while dedicated knobs adjust pan/tilt and zoom speeds on the fly. Direct-access keys put exposure, focus, iris, white balance, shutter and backlight compensation at your fingertips, and six user-assignable function buttons streamline common tasks. Store and recall up to 256 presets to accelerate complex shots, and power the unit via PoE, DC or through the serial interface for flexible deployment. Compatible with BirdDog Comms for NDI intercom workflows, it’s a dependable hub for multi-camera operations.
Ideal for live production, houses of worship, higher education, corporate AV and streaming studios where precise, tactile PTZ control is essential.
