The Bell SMP700A is a rugged Class H power amplifier built around a high‑efficiency switch‑mode power supply, delivering 2 x 350 W into 4 Ω or 700 W bridged into 8 Ω. A per‑channel DSC processor can be engaged to enhance perceived punch and clarity, tightening the low end and opening up the top end when needed. Reliability is assured with a temperature‑controlled fan and comprehensive protection against inrush current, voltage limiting, DC, over‑current, thermal faults and loudspeaker issues.
Connectivity is fully professional: balanced XLR inputs with link outputs, NL4 Speakon speaker outputs, a stereo/bridge mode switch and a ground lift. Each channel features an input gain control and clear status LEDs for signal, limit, protect and DSC active. With a wide 10 Hz–40 kHz frequency response, an excellent 110 dB signal‑to‑noise ratio and THD+N under 0.05%, it provides clean headroom and consistent performance. Housed in a compact 2U chassis (482 x 88 x 445 mm) and weighing just 9.5 kg, it is easy to rack, transport and deploy.
