The Bell SMP700A is a robust Class H power amplifier with a high-efficiency switch-mode power supply, delivering 2 x 350 W into 4 Ω or 700 W bridged into 8 Ω. Its per‑channel DSC processor can be engaged to enhance perceived dynamics, tightening low-end response and adding clarity to the top end. A temperature‑controlled fan and a comprehensive protection suite—covering inrush current, voltage limiting, DC, over‑current, thermal and loudspeaker protection—ensure long-term reliability in demanding environments.
Connectivity is fully professional, with balanced XLR inputs and link outputs (male/female), Speakon NL4 speaker outputs, a stereo/bridge switch and ground lift. Each channel provides a gain control, alongside clear status LEDs for signal, limit, protect and DSC active. Sonically, the SMP700A offers a wide 10 Hz–40 kHz frequency response, an excellent 110 dB signal‑to‑noise ratio and low THD+N of <0.05%, with an input sensitivity of 1.06 Vrms (+2.7 dBu). Housed in a compact 2U rackmount chassis (482 x 88 x 445 mm) and weighing just 9.5 kg, it’s easy to integrate and transport.
