Allen & Heath’s QU-16 is a compact, tour-ready digital console for professional live sound and studio work. It features 16 mono mic/line inputs on XLR/TRS combo sockets plus three stereo inputs, routed through a flexible 16-bus architecture with 12 mixes including LR, mono mixes 1–4 and stereo mixes 1–3. Motorised, recallable faders and AnaLOGIQ preamps deliver fast workflow and clean, musical sound. An intuitive 800x480 touchscreen speeds up navigation, while four internal FX engines provide studio-quality reverbs, delays and modulation. Connectivity includes AES digital output and USB for direct multitrack recording/playback and DAW streaming, with MIDI control supported. The QU-16 integrates with Allen & Heath ME personal monitoring systems and offers wireless control via the Qu-Pad iPad app for on-stage or FOH mixing.
