The Allen & Heath QU-5D is a compact 38-channel digital mixer with integrated 16x16 Dante networking, ready for modern live sound and installed AV. Its 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and 17 motorised faders provide fast, precise control, powered by 96 kHz XCVI processing for low-latency, high-resolution results. Onboard I/O covers 16 mic/line combo inputs, two stereo line inputs, 12 XLR outputs, two TRS outputs and AES3, with 12 mix buses (6 mono/6 stereo), four matrix buses and six FX engines for flexible routing and processing. Connectivity includes SLink for remote stageboxes, a USB-C 32x32 interface for recording and playback, and SD card multitrack (16x16 at 96 kHz or 32x32 at 48 kHz). Remote control is seamless via Qu MixPad and Qu-You apps, while eight SoftKeys enable quick access to key functions.
