AJA Ki Pro Ultra Plus is a professional multi-channel Apple ProRes recorder and player for 4K, Ultra HD, 2K and HD workflows. It balances image fidelity with manageable file sizes, capturing directly to native formats supported by major NLEs for a smooth post-production path. In multi-channel mode it records up to four HD feeds simultaneously at 1080p, ideal for live production and multicam capture. Ki Protect safeguards data integrity by continually updating file headers during recording, helping preserve clips even if power or media is interrupted. Single-channel ProRes 4444 XQ is supported up to 2K 60p, with full 12-bit signal processing for superior colour precision. HDR10 and HLG playback via HDMI 2.0 ensures accurate monitoring on compatible displays, with user options for fine output control. Up to eight channels of audio are supported in high frame rate 1080p modes.
