The L-Acoustics SB28 is a high-output touring subwoofer engineered for articulate, musical low end in demanding live sound environments. Twin 18-inch high-excursion drivers operate in an optimised bass-reflex enclosure with progressive-profile ports to reduce turbulence and port noise, preserving definition and fast transient response down to the lowest octave. Advanced thermal management limits power compression, ensuring consistent performance over long, high-SPL shows.
Seamless integration with LA8 amplified controllers provides validated presets for predictable behaviour, coherent voicing and swift deployment. The SB28 supports cardioid and hypercardioid arrays for excellent rear rejection, improving on-stage clarity and reducing spill into reflective or noise-sensitive areas. Rugged construction and proven rigging options enable reliable flown or ground-stacked configurations, making it ideal for intensive touring and rental operations.
From theatres and houses of worship to arenas, premium clubs and outdoor festivals, the SB28 delivers authoritative, controlled sub-bass with the headroom and accuracy required for modern large-scale reinforcement. A dependable choice wherever impactful, precisely controlled low-frequency performance is essential.
