Robe’s BMFL Blade (2019) is a high-output profile moving light designed for precise beam shaping and dynamic aerial effects. Its integrated framing system features four ultra-fast shutter blades, each with independent position and angle control, while the entire module rotates up to 90 degrees. This allows you to create razor-sharp or beautifully softened frames that are easily repeatable show after show. For layered projection looks, two gobo wheels—one rotating with six SLOT&LOCK positions and one with eight static gobos—combine with an animation wheel to deliver a wide palette of textured effects. The BMFL platform brings smooth, stepless dimming, high-resolution colour mixing and a wide beam, with up to 250,000 lux at 5 m for commanding brightness. Robe’s EMS electronic motion stabilisation supports accurate, rapid moves and firm braking, all in a compact 37.9 kg chassis. Each opposing blade pair can fully close for clean blackouts, and gobos can be trimmed to triangular or trapezoidal shapes for unique looks. Ideal for touring, broadcast, theatre and large-scale events where precision framing and punchy output are essential.
