The MA Lighting Digital Dimmer Touring is a rugged 19-inch, 3U rack-mount unit delivering twelve individually controlled 2.3 kVA channels for dependable, accurate dimming on the road or in fixed installs. A 30 mA RCD on the 32 A input adds vital protection, while a high-performance control platform ensures precise digital firing-angle control for smooth, consistent fades. Settings and cue memories are stored in non-volatile EPROM to safeguard show data, with the option to update the operating software via EPROM.
Control options are comprehensive: DMX addressing supports single-channel or sequence patching, and a hold/output memory function keeps levels steady in the event of DMX loss. For larger systems, master/slave linking enables synchronised operation across racks, and MIDI-based programme recall streamlines multi-rack control. Built in a robust, coated steel chassis with an internal frame, it’s engineered to withstand the demands of touring and daily hire.
