With a 3.5 mm focal length and bright F2.2 aperture, it delivers a maximum vertical projection angle of 184°, enabling full hemispherical coverage from a single projector. The lens provides an image circle of 10.8 mm tailored to 0.8" panels and features manual focus with a working range from 600 mm to infinity. Designed for consistent image quality across the dome, it achieves MTF performance of 66% at centre and 60% at edge (67 lp/mm), with lateral chromatic aberration below 4 µm (R–G) and 2 µm (B–G). F‑Theta distortion is kept to a maximum of -1% for reliable geometry. Built in a robust metal‑glass assembly measuring up to 122 × 285 mm, it is suitable for professional, continuous operation. For best results on curved surfaces, precise alignment, projector‑specific calibration and warping are required. Ideal for planetariums, science centres, museums and immersive visualisation suites.
