Its telecentric fixed design features a 3.5 mm focal length with a bright F2.2 aperture and manual focus, delivering a maximum vertical projection angle of 175° for seamless dome coverage. Optimised for 0.76-inch 3LCD panels, it produces uniform image quality across the field with an MTF of 66% at centre and 60% at edge (67 lp/mm). Lateral chromatic aberration is tightly controlled (<4 µm R‑G, <2 µm B‑G) and F‑Theta distortion is limited to a maximum of -1% for consistent geometry.
Built with a robust metal–glass construction and measuring approximately 122 × 285 mm, this dome lens is designed for dependable operation in professional environments. The manual focus range spans from 600 mm to infinity, supporting precise setup in demanding installations. Ideal applications include planetariums, science centres, museums and other immersive venues. Due to the extreme projection angle, accurate alignment plus projector-specific calibration and warping are required to achieve correct image geometry.
