Integrated ILS1 stepper encoders allow precise, repeatable storage and recall of focus, zoom and lens‑shift presets, streamlining fast changeovers, multi‑projector arrays and complex edge‑blends.
As a UHC variant, the optical path employs stray‑light suppression and low‑flare coatings to deepen blacks and elevate ANSI contrast, delivering greater perceived image depth and preserving fine shadow detail. Mechanically aligned with ILS1 HB lenses, it retains full motorised control and seamless interoperability across the M‑RGB range, while providing a visible contrast benefit in controlled‑light environments. The same optical assembly is used in select cinema applications, with effective throw dependent on imager size.
