The Midas DL231 is a 24‑in/24‑out active microphone splitter and digital stagebox engineered for touring, broadcast and installed sound. Each of the 24 channels provides two fully independent MIDAS mic preamps with switchable +48 V, delivering simultaneous, uncompromised feeds to FOH, monitors and recording. Dual redundant AES50 ports with independent PLL sync ensure robust, low‑latency transport, and operation at 48 kHz or 96 kHz fits seamlessly into modern digital ecosystems.
Flexible output sourcing allows the 24 electronically balanced analogue outs to be driven from either the analogue preamps or the digital network, simplifying complex routing and redundancy strategies. Configuration is fast and consistent via remote control over CAT5/5e, with clear front‑panel LCD status for local oversight. Additional connectivity includes Ethernet and MIDI for versatile control integration. Housed in a rugged 5U rackmount chassis with dual universal, redundant power supplies, the DL231 is built for reliability on the road or in permanent installs.
Ideal for applications demanding pristine mic capture and resilient distribution, including arena tours, broadcast trucks, theatres and houses of worship.
