The Lab Gruppen LMX 48 is a professional Lake digital audio processor built for precise loudspeaker management and robust system control in demanding environments. With versatile connectivity, it provides 4 x 8 analogue I/O, 4 x 8 AES3 digital I/O, 8 x 8 Dante/AES67 networked I/O and dual AES50 interfaces, enabling selection of up to 24 channels from a pool of up to 96 AES50 channels. Sixteen input routers with four priority levels support seamless failover for true redundancy, while up to 38 inputs and 44 outputs can be routed directly for complex system topologies. Processing is powered by Lake MESA and CONTOUR modules, offering Raised Cosine EQ, linear-phase and classic crossovers, dedicated FIR for array optimisation, and multiband/limiter compression for consistent, musical protection. Control is available from the front panel, Lake Controller software or GPI, with Input Scenes for rapid console switching and mixing. Connectivity includes Iso-Float XLR analogue and AES3, dual-redundant Dante (one port with PoE+), plus word clock I/O with selectable termination.
