The Adamson S118 is an ultra-compact, high-output subwoofer designed to extend low-frequency performance in S-Series systems. Housing a single ND18-S 18-inch driver, it delivers impressive punch and clarity with a maximum SPL of 133 dB. Its operational frequency range of 35 Hz to 100 Hz (±3 dB) is optimised for use with an 80 Hz crossover, making integration with Adamson tops fast and predictable.
Built for touring and installation, the S118 features a marine-grade birch plywood enclosure with rugged aluminium and steel rigging on each corner, plus a pole mount on top. Up to 16 cabinets can be flown using the Ultra-Compact Support Frame, and the S118 can be flown or stacked seamlessly with Adamson S7 elements without additional inter-cabinet hardware. Adamson’s proprietary Advanced Cone Architecture ensures controlled excursion and exceptional output from a compact 31 kg footprint, maintaining low resonance while keeping weight to a minimum.
