The L-Acoustics LA8 Amp Rack AES is a touring-grade amplified controller designed to drive and manage L-Acoustics loudspeaker systems with precision and consistency. Advanced DSP with comprehensive factory presets streamlines deployment across mains, arrays, fills and delays, ensuring uniform tonal balance and phase coherence from show to show. AES/EBU digital inputs allow direct connection from digital consoles, reducing A/D conversions and preserving audio fidelity. Robust protection, refined thermal management and high-current output provide stability under demanding loads, while networked control enables efficient configuration, monitoring and adjustments across larger systems.
This is a used unit, estimated at 6–10 years old. It shows typical signs of regular event use but remains in good working order. Supplied in a custom rack case to speed load-ins and offer added protection on the road, it’s a dependable, practical choice for rental houses, touring productions and integrators seeking repeatable results with L-Acoustics rigs.
Ideal for concert sound, corporate events and theatre where reliable, consistent system performance is essential.
