The AED Audio SOLID28 is a high-output, dual 18-inch powered subwoofer built for touring, rental and fixed installations. A robust 3,000 W RMS amplifier drives a precisely tuned band-pass enclosure for fast, controlled transients and extended low-frequency response from 25 Hz to 120 Hz, reaching up to 140 dB max SPL. Voicing is matched to AED Audio SOLID15 and FLEX6 tops for seamless integration, enabling scalable systems from compact club rigs to large festival deployments and corporate productions.
Finished in AED’s durable Yellow Sand coating, the cabinet is engineered to withstand the demands of the road while remaining easily identifiable on stage or in storage. Practical handling is assured with the supplied wheeled dolly for swift load‑ins and a protective cover that safeguards the enclosure during transport and downtime. Reliable, punchy and articulate, the SOLID28 delivers the low-end authority needed for hard‑hitting EDM, live bands, musical theatre and speech‑led events.
Ideal wherever extended, precise bass and road‑ready construction are essential, from touring and event production to permanent installs.
