The AED Audio SOLID28 is a self-powered, dual 18-inch band-pass subwoofer engineered for deep, musical low frequencies with exceptional control. A precisely matched 3,000 W RMS amplifier drives the enclosure efficiently, delivering up to 140 dB peak SPL with impressive headroom and punch. With an operating range of 25–120 Hz, it offers fast transient response and authority that complements modern music programmes, speech reinforcement and live performance. Part of the AED Audio ecosystem, SOLID28 provides unified connectivity, straightforward management and consistent voicing across deployments. It partners naturally with SOLID15 to expand system headroom, or integrates seamlessly with FLEX6 and suitable tops for scalable full-range rigs. The rugged cabinet and durable Signal White finish present a discreet, professional look for theatres, houses of worship, corporate venues and hospitality spaces, while standing up to touring and rental demands. Choose SOLID28 when you need serious low-end extension, clarity and impact for concerts, clubs, touring productions and large presentation environments.
