The AED Audio SOLID28 is a self-powered dual 18-inch subwoofer designed for modern touring, events and fixed installations. Twin long-excursion drivers deliver deep, musical low end with fast transient response, while the built-in amplifier and DSP ensure consistent, optimised performance with minimal setup time. Factory presets, intelligent limiting and advanced protection maximise headroom and keep the system safe under demanding conditions.
Engineered for rental reliability, the robust enclosure features ergonomic handling and rig-ready hardware to speed load-ins and changeovers. The SOLID28 integrates seamlessly with AED Audio tops and other professional PA systems, scaling from single units to large-format deployments. With multiple cabinets, cardioid and end-fire arrays are straightforward to implement, improving low-frequency directivity, reducing rear spill and keeping stages and audience areas cleaner. Optional accessories such as protective covers and wheel dollies support efficient transport and storage.
Choose the SOLID28 when you need authoritative, tight and reliable sub-bass that enhances musicality without sacrificing impact—ideal for live music, DJs, theatre, corporate events and festival stages.
