The MA Lighting grandMA3 Processing Unit XL provides deterministic, frame‑synchronised processing for expansive grandMA3 networks, delivering up to 16,384 parameters over MA‑Net3. Built for complex, distributed control, it maintains precise timing and stable playback with headroom for the largest show files. Housed in a rugged 2RU chassis, it offers eight frame‑aligned DMX outputs for local distribution and scales easily via grandMA3 xPort Nodes. An integrated touchscreen simplifies status checks, configuration and diagnostics, speeding up commissioning and on‑site fault‑finding.
A high‑performance CPU and tour‑ready build make it a strong choice for arenas, festivals, broadcast, theatres and large fixed installations. Flexible networking lets it act as the central processing engine or expand existing grandMA3 consoles and onPC systems. Mode2 compatibility also supports 4,096 parameters for grandMA2 workflows, easing mixed‑generation rigs and transitions. Whether augmenting a flagship console or bringing processing closer to the stage or dimmer rooms, the grandMA3 Processing Unit XL delivers assured parameter expansion, accurate synchronisation and dependable control.
Ideal for touring, broadcast and installations needing very high channel counts, precise timing and robust, distributed lighting control.
