Description Sontronic: The new Sigma 2 was developed from scratch and handmade in our Sontronics headquarters. It uses our own unique circuits, electronics produced in Great Britain, including a high-quality, specially wrapped transformer (which is produced exclusively for us in our hometown Poole), precision-cut and shaped British stainless steel fabric as well as CNC-made internal and external metal parts. The circuit of the Sigma 2 is equipped with RFI filters (Radio Frequency Interference), which ensure that the signal of the Sigma 2 remains trouble-free and the microphone is even more suitable for live use than before. We are the only ribbon microphones in the world that have this property! Sigma 2 uses the same highly sensitive ribbon engine as the original and offers a breathtaking clarity and definition in the heights, but now also a richer middle and bass. Like any ribbon microphone, Sigma 2 should be used with caution, since its ribbon element is very sensitive. With reasonable placement and careful handling, Sigma 2 will always deliver incredible results.
