D80 amplifier

The D80 is a 4-channel amplifier capable of high power levels intended for fixed or mobile installations. The D80 - which fits in 2 rack units - is designed to work with all speakers in the d & b range and offers a linear mode. A fully configurable delay function up to 10 s (= 3440 m / 11286 ft) is available for each channel, as well as two 16-band EQs with optional parametric, unbalanced, shelving or notch filtering.
The D80 incorporates a color TFT touch screen for quick access to the various menus as well as a digital rotary encoder for fine adjustments. The front panel and integrated touchscreen of the D80 amplifier tilt for easy operation in low placement.
The equivalent ratio between the input signal and the output channels of the amplifier allows a greater flexibility of application, especially in stage monitor, frontfill or for effects channels.
The LoadMatch function built into the D80 amplifier allows the electrical properties of speaker cables to be compensated without the need for an additional conductor. This results in greater accuracy of acoustic reproduction over a bandwidth of up to 20 kHz, without affecting the tonal balance for a cable length of up to 70 m (230 ft). The D80 is a Class D amplifier fitted with a Power Factor Correction (PFC) power supply compatible with the 10 0 V / 120 V / 200 V / 230 V, 50 - 60 Hz standards and offers a Stable and reinforced output when used behind a weak or unstable power source. An NL8 combines all the outputs on a single connector, and individual outputs in connector NL4 or EP5 are offered as an option.
