The M2 is a multimedia audio distribution system that offers a previously unknown flexibility and abundance of possibilities for every audio distribution system. It can process a variety of input signals and has enough DSP performance to apply the most modern filters, effects and other options. In general, the M2 is a digital 9 x 8 audio mixer, which is based on 11 powerful DSP processors. It can be fully digitally controlled by every web browser, an optional touchscreen display, wall panels, as well as Android or iOS apps. With the freely available Audac Touch ™ app for mobile devices guaranteed, complete control and configuration from any device, anywhere and at any time. The integrated digital mixer enables the mixture of all input signals and as well as the flexible assignment to each output. What makes the M2 superior to all other digital audiomatrixes is the high DSP performance and advanced software. M2 has 8 symmetrical stereo inputs with automatic level control (ALC) for any line or microphone level source. Other functions that can be applied to the inputs are: noise gate, filter, parametric 5-band EQ and phantom power. The zone outputs are designed as symmetrical stereo outputs and can be connected directly to speakers with an optional internal power amplifier module (POW2). The outputs are switchable between Mono / Stereo and offer a variety of DSP function such as: Delay, Limiters, parametric 5-band EQ and filter. A starting relay (NO / NC contacts) is available for each zone, which can be used to control external devices such as emergency lighting, bypass volume controls, etc. All audio inputs can be mixed on the outputs and to keep an overview of all of these settings, they can be grouped into different scenes. With these scenes it is possible to access all settings with a single action. The M2 offers some other functions for controlling and configuration: 10 programmable contact inputs, 256 pre-programmed actions, a fiber optic interface (optional), a 7 touchscreen display (optional), and much more.
