New goods including the Linea Research ASC 48 is a very versatile and high-quality loudspeaker controller. It has 4 inputs and 8 outputs that can be used both analogously and digitally via AES3. The Dante Enabled version provides 4 channels from a Dante Ethernet network as a further entrance option. The entrance equalizer is equipped with 6 fully parametric, 2 low and a high-shelve band. To adapt the phase area, one of the ligaments can work as an Allpass filter. The High Shelve Band works as a Fir Filter Phaselinear. The crossover works with the standard characteristics of Bessel, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley Miit 6-48dB. The special Hardman filters allow an even sharper separation of the ligaments with less phase shift in the passage area. The starting skills are designed with 8 fully parametric and 2 Shelve ribbons. To protect the loudspeakers, the ASC48 has multiple, parallel -working limit circuits. The VX Peak Limmer can be switched into a 2 band mode and thus allows separate protection of the high and woofers in a passively separate box. The overhoot function enables particularly inaudible work by the limit. The thermolimiter with long time constants protects the loudspeaker or its components from overheating. The deflection limiter prevents damage from the loudspeakers by too large membrane huts. All parameters can be organized in presets and snapshots.
