The MAP series consists of 2 different models (MAP-128 & MAP-1216) of professional audio matrixes and the associated accessories (including various control options). This product family was developed for commercial audio installations that require audio processing, distribution, automation and remote control at an affordable price. Thanks to the "3CMAP" software, the user can easily set up the system and make adjustments that are stored in various presets. Proprietary RS-485 remote controls can be connected in different areas or rooms in a chain and used by the staff. In this way, the audio setting can easily be adapted to the needs of the different areas of installation. As already mentioned, the processor is controlled via the 3CMAP software. The connection to the computer can be established either via the USB connection on the front of the processor or the Ethernet connection on the back. While the USB connection enables easy and quick setup or changes, the Ethernet connection allows the local or remote operation of the device. To control the device wirelessly, a router must be used to create a local WLAN network. As a result, the device can be controlled via a "LAN" with specific apps available in the Google Play Store (further information below on this page). As far as the audio functions are concerned, the device is equipped with powerful microphone/line preamplifiers, virtual input routing, mixer, EQ, filtering, dynamics, delay, crossover, output matrix, priority duck, remote control, preserving, level measurements, etc. Crystal-clear processing is guaranteed by the use of the latest A/D converter, advanced DSP technology and the renowned altair input preamplifiers. The MAP series also has symmetrical starting drivers developed by the Alair development team and are based on decades of experience in mixing desk construction. In addition, a real -time clock/calendar function is integrated, which enables the user to plan tasks in such a way that they are automatically carried out at a specified time. As a result, the system changes its configuration depending on the time of day without having to intervene a user, which opens up a wide range of applications. If necessary, the system can be expanded by connecting a further unit (max. 2 units) if necessary.
