The NEXO NXAMP4x4 MK1 is a four-channel system amplifier with integrated DSP loudspeaker management, built to extract maximum performance from NEXO loudspeakers. Its advanced output stage topology delivers the sonic refinement of Class‑AB while retaining the efficiency and cool running demanded in modern touring and install environments, drawing on Yamaha EEEngine heritage. Dual dual‑core DSPs provide precise optimisation, protection and linearity via multiple measurement paths, preserving headroom and clarity even under demanding loads. Dual mains inlets drive four interleaved resonant switch‑mode supplies for exceptional current delivery, low noise and strong EMC performance. Channels can be paired for powerful bridged operation when required.
Connectivity is comprehensive: four balanced XLR inputs with link outs, four Neutrik Speakon NL4 outputs, GPIO on DB‑25 and RS‑232, plus an expansion slot for optional Dante, EtherSound or AES/EBU audio networking and remote control. A front‑panel LCD with encoder and dedicated keys enables complete computer‑free setup. With 10 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth, 105 dB dynamic range and just 500 μs latency, the NXAMP4x4 MK1 is ideal for touring, rental and fixed installations needing reliable, high-power drive and assured NEXO system compatibility.
