The Vari-Lite VL800 Event Profile is a compact LED moving profile built for precise imaging, consistent output and dependable day-to-day operation. Its refined optics deliver crisp, high-contrast gobos, while 16-bit dimming enables smooth, repeatable fades all the way to true blackout. Colour performance is versatile and fast, pairing an RGB system with a dedicated colour wheel for instant access to saturated primaries and nuanced pastels without sacrificing brightness. Creative looks are easy to achieve with both rotating and static gobo wheels for textured projection, breakups and impactful aerial effects. An optimised zoom range suits short to mid throws, aiding flexible placement in theatres, studios and event spaces. Selectable PWM frequencies ensure flicker-free results for broadcast, streaming and IMAG, and a low-noise cooling design keeps operation discreet in quiet environments. Integration is straightforward via DMX and RDM for addressing, monitoring and diagnostics, while robust construction and efficient thermal management suit touring and fixed install alike. Ideal for theatres, corporate events, houses of worship, studios and live shows.
