Allen & Heath’s SQ-5 is a compact, tour-ready 96 kHz digital mixer driven by the XCVI FPGA engine for outstanding clarity and ultra-low latency. It offers up to 48 input channels with 17 motorised faders across 6 layers and flexible, patch-anywhere routing to adapt quickly to any show. A 32×32 USB audio interface makes multitrack recording and playback straightforward, while SQ-Drive captures stereo or multitrack direct to USB without a computer. Eight stereo FX engines with dedicated returns provide studio-grade processing, and the responsive touchscreen with assignable soft controls speeds up workflow. This bundle includes all available Allen & Heath SQ add-ons and plugins, including DEEP Processing and Dyn8 dynamic EQ, delivering premium on-board dynamics and mix control without external DSP. Expansion via SLink connects easily to remote stageboxes and the wider Allen & Heath ecosystem. Built in a rugged chassis, SQ-5 is ideal for live sound, touring, rental, installs, streaming, and project studios where power, clarity, and speed are critical.
