The L-Acoustics SB28 is a touring-grade subwoofer engineered for deep, musical low-frequency reinforcement in large-scale sound systems. Its dual 18-inch high-excursion transducers load into a refined bass-reflex enclosure with progressive-profile ports, reducing turbulence and preserving clarity, punch and extension at high SPL. Advanced thermal management mitigates power compression, ensuring stable output over long shows. Seamless integration with LA8 amplified controllers provides factory-validated presets for fast deployment, consistent voicing and predictable system behaviour.
The SB28 supports cardioid and hypercardioid configurations to deliver excellent rear rejection, improving on-stage clarity and controlling spill in reflective or noise-sensitive spaces. Built for life on the road, it features rugged construction and proven rigging options for reliable ground-stacked or flown arrays, while its efficient footprint helps maximise truck space without compromising headroom. From theatres and houses of worship to arenas, premium clubs and outdoor festivals, the SB28 delivers authoritative, precisely controlled sub-bass that scales effortlessly with modern L-Acoustics systems.
Ideal for tour sound, installed systems and events where deep, accurate and tightly managed low-end performance is essential.
