The L-Acoustics LA4X is a compact 2U amplified controller combining four channels of efficient Class-D power with advanced onboard DSP for precise loudspeaker management. Delivering 4 × 1000 W into 4 or 8 ohms, it provides ample headroom and tight control across a wide range of compatible L-Acoustics enclosures. High-resolution 96 kHz / 32-bit floating-point processing supports flexible routing, comprehensive EQ, delay and array optimisation, while L-DRIVE protection maintains consistent performance and reliability at high output levels. Connectivity includes analogue and AES/EBU inputs, four SpeakON outputs, and Ethernet for seamless integration with LA Network Manager, enabling remote setup, monitoring and control. Factory presets ensure fast, repeatable results from show to show, and the robust 11.3 kg chassis is well suited to touring racks and fixed installs alike. This version is supplied without AVB networking capability.
